Safety is a key priority at DILFO and it’s an integral part of everything we do. Our mandate is to meet or exceed all Ontario Occupational Health & Safety regulations. We achieve this through extensive training and education for all of our employees. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, DILFO worked diligently to achieve the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations’ Certificate of Recognition (COR) in occupational health and safety program accreditation.

We played a major role in the construction of Roger’s House, a hospice for pediatric palliative care for children at CHEO, and in the renovations required at the Shepherds of Good Hope kitchen for the homeless.

We believe in making sound investments in the education of our future construction trades people and leaders and donated $100,000 to help with the construction of the Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence.

In 2016, we were honoured to be the title sponsor of the YMCA/YWCA Cycle for Strong Kids (Powered by DILFO HVAC Services) and entered a team in this indoor cycling event focused on raising much needed funds to improve the health and well-being of children and youth in our community.
